Ricardo A. Santiago

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Ricardo A Santiago LMHC, MS currently serves as Clinical Director of Palm Beach Recovery Group. Mr Santiago holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Ricardo has served in the social services arena as a mental health counselor and program director since 2000 and was licensed as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida in 2003. He has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient & outpatient mental health, child and adolescent group home/shelter, adolescent & adult homeless shelter, in-home individual and family counseling, therapeutic foster care, and adolescent & adult residential substance abuse treatment.

Ricardo is also an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach State College, Barry University and Palm Beach Atlantic University where he teaches psychology courses. He is a member of the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) and was recently selected to serve as Member-At-Large of their Therapeutic Adventure Professionals Group (TAPG) Leadership Council. Ricardo has extensive experience in trauma, child welfare, adventure therapy, abuse/neglect, dual diagnosis, substance abuse and program management.

Mr. Levy has a tremendous amount of experience working with addicts and alcoholics. Being in recovery since 2010, Mr. Levy understands that when an addict/alcoholic asks for help, the timing is crucial for admission. Mr. Levy strives to make the admissions process as fast and sufficient as possible. As the Director of Admissions, his responsibilities are to ensure that their clients have a safe medical detox and a smooth transition into treatment. Mr. Levy has always had a passion for helping people, it is one of his characteristics that he takes pride in. Part of his job is being on call for clients around the clock, he assures you, when you need him he will be there every step of the way. “Knowing first hand what people are going through, it is my utmost priority to help every person that calls into Palm Beach Recovery Group.

Mr. Herfield has an extensive background working in the Substance Abuse/Mental Health field.  Starting as an admissions counselor in 2010, Mr. Herfield has evolved his career into working directly with clients and the clinical team. His hard work and dedication paid off which started his Director position in 2012. While Mr. Herfield is in recovery himself since 2009, he is extremely empathetic to how clients feel during their stay in treatment.  Since starting his director position in 2012, Mr. Herfield has quickly learned the ins and outs of running a top of the line facility. His experience and work ethic is invaluable. He strives to provide the highest quality of service to his clients and an positive environment for his staff. As COO, Mr. Herfield takes pride in his work and ensures that your stay at Palm Beach Recovery Group will be an experience that you carry with you through out your journey of recovery.
